Seit 25 Jahren begleitet die Praxis Dr. Hartung werdende Eltern – mit medizinischer Kompetenz, modernster Diagnostik und persönlicher Betreuung. In dieser Zeit durften wir viele tausend Patientinnen auf ihrem Weg begleiten, und wir sind dankbar für das Vertrauen, das uns seit einem Vierteljahrhundert entgegengebracht wird. Unser Anspruch bleibt: Medizin auf höchstem fachlichen Niveau, verbunden mit Menschlichkeit und persönlicher Zuwendung.

You should feel that you are in good hands
We have special patients. Normally, patients are people who are suffering from an illness or the consequences of an accident and therefore require medical treatment. We, on the other hand, are visited by women who are usually in perfect health; women - often accompanied by their partners, of course - who are looking forward to one of the most joyful events of their lives: the birth of their child.
Unfortunately, it is in the nature of things that we sometimes have to make unpleasant diagnoses. In these cases, it is important to us that patients feel that they are in the best possible hands. And they can. On the one hand, we are experts in our field - we know what we are doing and what we are diagnosing. On the other hand, we try to adapt to the emotional state of the women in the respective situation with the necessary empathy and provide them with the best possible advice.
Fortunately, the vast majority of findings are very good. We greatly appreciate this rare and fortunate situation for doctors and we are pleased to be able to discharge our patients into a carefree pregnancy.

Here I would like to introduce myself briefly:
For over 25 years, I have been accompanying pregnant women with great passion and the highest level of professional expertise in prenatal diagnosis and obstetrics. As a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics with the additional qualification Specialised obstetrics and perinatal medicine, the DEGUM Level II as well as an additional qualification as Psychotherapist (recognition and licensing in 2013) I combine state-of-the-art medical diagnostics with empathetic and individual care.
- 1992 Completion of medical studies at the Free University of Berlin and commencement of specialist medical training at the Charité
- 1998 Recognition as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a specialisation in prenatal diagnosis and maternal-foetal medicine
- 2001 Opening of the prenatal diagnostics practice in Berlin-Steglitz and recognition of the additional qualification Specialised obstetrics and perinatal medicine
- 2001–2011 Senior management role in clinical obstetrics at the DRK Klinikum „Parksanatorium Dahlem“

My aim is always to advise and treat my female patients according to the latest scientific findings. Therefore, I regularly attend national and international specialist congresses, give lectures and am continuously involved in further scientific training.
